ClearUtils provides free online utility tools. We keep data collection minimal and design current tools to run locally in your browser whenever practical.
Information entered into tools
Current text, developer, SEO, calculator, and image tools are designed to process pasted content, entered values, or selected files in your browser whenever practical. ClearUtils does not need to upload, store, sell, or share that tool input to calculate counts, transform text, format snippets, or prepare images.
This browser-local design applies to the tool input itself. Normal website requests, analytics events, security logs, and third-party services may still process basic visit information such as pages viewed, approximate location, browser type, referrer, and device details as described below.
Sensitive information
Do not paste passwords, private keys, authentication tokens, regulated records, confidential customer data, or other sensitive material into ClearUtils or any online tool. Use made-up samples or local offline tools for confidential workflows.
Analytics
ClearUtils uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with measurement ID G-3GQC6SD5XS to understand aggregate site usage such as page views, referring pages, approximate geography, device/browser information, and general performance. GA4 helps us find broken pages, improve popular tools, and prioritize new utilities. Google may process analytics data according to its own policies and user privacy controls.
Google Search Console
ClearUtils uses Google Search Console to monitor indexing, search visibility, crawl status, sitemap discovery, and search performance. Search Console does not give ClearUtils personal search histories.
Advertising and ad networks
ClearUtils may use Google AdSense to support free access to the tools as advertising is enabled. The site may load Google advertising scripts or publisher verification files during AdSense setup and review, even when explicit in-page ad units are not yet displayed. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to measure ads, prevent abuse, personalize or limit advertising, and serve ads according to their own policies and user settings.
Tool input is still separate from advertising setup: pasted text, selected browser-local images, calculator values, and developer snippets are not intentionally sent to ClearUtils servers to run the tools. Do not paste secrets or regulated records, because normal browser, analytics, security, and advertising systems can still process basic page-visit information.
Cookies
ClearUtils does not require user accounts for current tools. Cookies may be set by analytics, security, hosting, or advertising providers when those services are enabled. Browser settings can be used to block or delete cookies.
No unnecessary data collection
ClearUtils does not ask for account registration to use the current tools and does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through tool inputs.
Data retention and control
ClearUtils does not maintain user accounts or saved tool workspaces for current tools. Analytics and advertising providers may retain aggregate or pseudonymous visit data according to their own settings, policies, and user controls. Browser settings can be used to clear local files, block cookies, or limit third-party storage.
Children and regulated use
ClearUtils is built for general-purpose utility workflows and is not designed to collect information from children or to process regulated medical, legal, financial, educational, or employment records.
