Use the workflow only when it fits
This toolkit combines a workflow surface with individual acquisition pages, so choose the path that matches the input you have right now.
- Match the workflow to the inputUse the on-page workflow only when the current pasted text, copied snippet, calculator scenario, or data sample fits the operations shown on this page.
- Open one tool for one exact taskChoose from 16 linked standalone pages when you only need a single formatter, counter, checker, converter, or calculator with its own focused notes.
- Verify before relyingReview outputs in the destination context before publishing, shipping, downloading, or using results for an important decision.
Review the combined result before handoff
Workflow toolkit pages can speed up multi-step tasks, but the final output still needs source comparison, setting notes, and destination review.
- Keep the original nearbySave the source text, snippet, image, or numbers separately so you can compare the toolkit output before replacing anything important.
- Use focused pages for edge checksWhen one step needs deeper review, open the matching Writing Utilities Toolkit standalone page and use its examples, limits, privacy notes, and related-tool links.
- Carry context forwardCopy the output with any settings, assumptions, units, or cleanup choices you used so the next person or destination system can verify it.
Switch before forcing a workflow
Workflow pages are useful only when the current input fits the shown steps. Use these routes when you need a topical hub, exact tool search, or a different toolkit family.
Compare standalone pages before leaving the workflow
These crawlable shortcuts connect the toolkit hub to filtered `/tools/` views, so users can compare the same live inventory by search, category, toolkit, and sort controls.
Writing workflow inputs
This page groups related ClearUtils writing tools into a focused browser-local writing QA desk. Pasted text is processed in your browser; ClearUtils does not upload or store it for these counting and writing checks. The expanded workflow presets can now clean a title, review a publish-ready draft, normalize social copy, draft a compact description, create a URL-safe slug, write a short email subject, write preview or preheader text, clean a pasted bullet list, strip Markdown formatting, clean HTML pasted copy, normalize quoted typography, prepare a short excerpt, clean outline lines, repair wrapped paragraph lines, remove repeated sentences, extract FAQ questions, extract action items from notes, extract testimonial quotes, extract release-note lines, extract draft headings, extract CTA lines, clean transcript notes, prepare compact image alt text, extract key points from notes, extract deadline lines, clean newsletter body copy, normalize interview Q&A lines, extract numeric claim lines for fact-checking, collect benefit copy, collect risk and limitation notes, collect source-attribution lines, extract assumptions, collect examples and scenarios, collect definition and glossary lines, collect objections and concerns, extract audience and persona lines, collect requirement and constraint lines, collect goal and success metric lines, extract revision requests, extract problem and pain lines, collect feature and capability lines, collect proof and evidence lines, extract next-step handoffs, extract headline and subject candidates, extract summary and TL;DR lines, extract link and URL lines, extract approval and sign-off lines, turn paragraphs into summary bullets, clean email reply bodies, or inspect keyword repetition from one input.
Start with the right counter
Use Word Counter for word count, sentence count, paragraph count, and reading-time context. Use Character Counter when you need character count including spaces online or character count without spaces. Use Line Counter to count text lines in pasted lists, rows, outlines, and copied text blocks. If spacing makes the counts noisy, clean the text first with Remove Extra Spaces.
Individual tools still exist
Use standalone writing tools when you need a focused counter, reading-time estimate, case converter, title-case converter, slug generator, truncator, or frequency counter. Use this workflow when you want one final output plus words, characters, sentences, paragraphs, lines, reading time, unique words, duplicate words, list/Markdown/HTML cleanup, quote normalization, compact excerpt guardrails, email-copy guardrails, question/action/quote/release-note extraction, heading and CTA extraction, transcript cleanup, alt-text preparation, key-point, deadline, numeric-claim, benefit-copy, risk, source-attribution, assumption, example, definition, objection, audience/persona, requirement/constraint, goal/success-metric, revision-request, problem/pain, feature/capability, proof/evidence, next-step, headline/subject, summary/TLDR, link/URL, approval/sign-off, newsletter boilerplate cleanup, interview Q&A normalization, paragraph-to-bullet reshaping, email-signature cleanup, repeated-sentence cleanup, and practical QA recommendations in the same panel.
