What this tool does

Use this browser-only cleanup tool to delete blank lines, collapse large blank gaps to single spacing, optionally trim kept lines, and prepare clean text for deduping, sorting, counting, or publishing.

How to use it

  1. Paste text that contains blank lines or whitespace-only rows.
  2. Choose whether to remove all empty lines or collapse blank-line runs to one separator.
  3. Optionally trim kept lines, then copy the cleaned output for your next text workflow.

Privacy note

Empty-line cleanup runs locally in your browser. ClearUtils does not upload, store, or inspect your pasted text.

FAQ

Does this remove whitespace-only lines?

Yes by default. Lines that only contain spaces or tabs are treated as empty, and you can turn that behavior off if whitespace-only rows matter.

Can I keep one blank line between sections?

Yes. Enable the collapse option to reduce multiple blank lines to a single separator instead of deleting every blank row.

Does this tool upload my text?

No. Empty-line removal runs locally in your browser and does not send pasted text to ClearUtils servers.
