Wrap Text workflow tips
Use this tool when text is technically correct but too wide for the place where it needs to be pasted or reviewed.
Prepare plain text blocks
Wrap long lines after using Normalize Whitespace, Remove Extra Spaces, or Trim Lines.
Control line shape
Compare wrapping with Add Line Breaks, Remove Line Breaks, and Line Counter for different copy destinations.
Finish for publishing
After wrapping, use Text Diff Checker, Word Counter, or Character Counter before sending.
What this tool does
Wrap Text reflows long paragraphs into shorter line widths locally in your browser, with controls for line width, paragraph breaks, and whitespace cleanup.
Common use cases
Wrap long pasted paragraphs, README notes, emails, prompts, documentation blocks, or review comments into shorter fixed-width lines before sharing or publishing plain text.
Use Wrap Text when pasted text needs counting, cleanup, rewriting, list preparation, formatting, or a final check before it goes into an email, document, CMS, spreadsheet, prompt, or publishing workflow.
How to use it
- Paste a long paragraph, plain text email, documentation block, prompt, README note, or copied text that needs shorter lines.
- Choose the target line width and whether paragraph breaks and whitespace normalization should be preserved.
- Copy the wrapped text into email, terminal comments, docs, notes, fixed-width fields, or another ClearUtils text cleanup step.
Example workflow
Paste the text you need to count, clean, split, join, sort, or reformat. Review the word, character, line, sentence, paragraph, spacing, or list result, then copy the cleaned output into your document, spreadsheet, CMS, prompt, or editor.
Privacy note
Wrap Text runs locally in your browser. Your pasted text is not uploaded, stored, fetched, logged, or inspected by ClearUtils.
FAQ
Does Wrap Text upload my text?
No. Text wrapping runs locally in your browser and does not send pasted text to ClearUtils servers.
Can I choose the line width?
Yes. Choose a target width between 20 and 160 characters depending on where you plan to paste the wrapped output.
Does it preserve paragraphs?
Yes. Paragraph preservation is on by default so blank-line breaks remain between wrapped blocks.
